Are you interested to understand what climate change is, and what it means for communities in south-west England, the UK and around the world?
This session will explore how we at the Met Office monitor the climate, the changes we are seeing and what this means for people and nature here in the UK and further afield. We’ll think about what the fossil record can tell us about how the climate has changed in the past, and how this compares to the changes we are experiencing today. Looking forward, we’ll explore the changes and impacts we can expect to see in the future, and the range of responses we can collectively take to determine what the climate will be like for future generations.
