In this workshop, pupils will discover how the rocks and fossils of the Jurassic Coast reveal almost 185 million years of Earth’s history across just 95 miles of coastline. They will learn how the Jurassic Coast is formed from sedimentary rock, how this rock was created and explore its key features and uses. Pupils will also be able to name and identify different types of sedimentary rock.
